Do you offer in-person or virtual therapy sessions?

Currently we only offer virtual therapy sessions.

How do I start therapy?

The first step is to schedule a free Phone Consultation. During the phone consultation, a clinician will introduce themselves and ask what is bringing you to therapy. This is an opportunity for you to convey your interest and goals in therapy and briefly address current psychological concerns. The consultation screening will end with the consulting clinician scheduling the initial assessment or recommend other services if necessary. You can schedule an initial phone consultation appointment via the Simple Practice Client Portal or by calling (312) 292-9739.

Do you accept insurance?

We are currently in-network for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois and Aetna insurances. For all others we are considered out-of-network. We encourage you to check with your insurance if you have out-of-network benefits if you would like to use an insurance we do not accept. We will happily provide you a superbill to submit to insurance for reimbursement.

What if I am not using insurance?

In this case the sessions will be an out of pocket cost. Sliding fee scale available on a case by case basis.

What is PSYPACT?

PSYPACT is an independent governing board that allows licensed professionals to treat patients across multiple states via telehealth. Click here to see if your state is part of this collective.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require 24 hour advance notice for all cancellations or rescheduling via phone, email or the Simple Practice Client Portal. If you cancel or reschedule under 24 hours or miss your appointment without notification, a fee will apply. 

What do I do in case of an emergency?​

If you need immediate assistance, please call 911 or go to the nearest hospital.
